How will the Dartmoor Legend ULTRA Sportive run?
All participants must register online in advance of the event. There will be no entry-on-the-day. Entries are limited to 200 places. One month prior to the ULTRA Sportive you will receive a detailed Ride Manual with all the information you will need for taking part in the event. The Event HQ will open on the afternoon of Friday 24th July 2020 for participants to attend and collect their Ride Pack. The Event HQ is located at the Princetown Community Centre, PL20 6RF.
The Dartmoor Legend will start from Princetown, the very heart of Dartmoor National Park. All participants must start between 04:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs on Saturday 25th July 2020 and are required to finish by midnight. The maximum time limit being 20 hrs (from 4 am). There is only one route option available and that is the full 200 mile ULTRA with it's 18,000 ft of climbing. Princetown is renowned for taking prisoners, the Dartmoor Legend will be no exception! You will pass through Princetown three times, on each occasion, if any rider falls behind the minimum pace necessary to finish by midnight, they will be required to retire from the event.
